I’ve Seen You Somewhere…

“I’ve seen you somewhere…”

I’ve been asked that quite a bit, and more than likely, you have.

He’s Javan H.–‘Javan’ rhyming with ‘The Don’–and I’m a renaissance man working out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a graphic designer, TV producer, host and journalist.

I’ve gotten some of the best education growing up, having been in gifted classes and accelerated schools since the second grade; I’ve attended schools in New Orleans, the Dallas area and Baton Rouge. A Katrina evacuee, I spent the first two years of high school at Edna Karr in New Orleans, later graduating from Tara High School in Baton Rouge in 2007. I later attended Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) for their Graphics program. Studying under Ms. Angela Saia, I remained on the on the Dean’s List throughout the duration, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, summa cum laude. All of this would lead to various projects, opportunities and experiences in the Baton Rouge media market.

This website serves as my portfolio for your eyes, ears and mind to indulge in. Everything you’ll see and hear encompasses all that I’ve learned throughout my life and education, with the vast majority of it being self-taught. In addition to my work, you will find blogs on various topics including pop culture, current events and local affairs.

I, as well as my virtual sets, can be seen on MyScene TV every Saturday at 4:30pm WBXH Channel 16 in Baton Rouge. In addition, my designs and story ideas can also be seen on WVLA Local 33 News Weekends (NBC33).

Parrain by day–producer, designer and host by night; with everything I do, I do it with love.
